Lancaster County couldn’t be more beautiful. We’ve had rain and everything is lush, just ask Keith since he mows the lawn. Fall gives us cooler temperatures and trees that glow in the sunlight with their reds, golds and green.
While out for an afternoon drive I discover Beilers Country Store. Now this is a hidden gem, locals refer to it as the Amish Walmart. While perusing the aisles I realize that there isn’t any electric only skylights. As a cook, I love the quality of stew pots and other neat utensils. There are also somethings that are hard to find in our stores on an everyday basis, and they have them ie. heavy cardigan sweaters, neat clocks with beautiful chimes (not electric), greeting cards with scripture text, and much more. If you are going to shop you will need cash, no credit card machine (no electric or phone). Very neat experience.
